Opera growers sing praises after high yields

Opera Barley Challenge growers applied Opera fungicide at two crop stages, measured the yield and calculated the gross margin.

BASF and Nufarm invited 22 growers on the eastern seaboard in 2010 to participate in large scale side by side trials where the grower conducted the applications and measured the yields.

The extremely wet season demonstrated the superior disease control of Opera. Growers were amazed with the response seen on yield monitors at harvest, and with the extra grain in the bin and profits generated from improved health of Opera treated crops.

BASF and Nufarm will be inviting more growers to participate in further on farm investigations of improving grower yield and qualify of grain.
