Growers have been reaping the benefits the broad spectrum weed control the Clearfield Wheat Production System provides.  New Clearfield Plus Wheat shifts this system into top gear with the ultimate herbicide option, Intervix Herbicide. Intervix offers improved foliar activity particularly on grass weeds including brome, barley and ryegrass. Broadleaf weeds are also controlled, including in season residual weed control for those persistent mulitple germinating weeds.

Intervix now also provides the flexibility of earlier application at the 3 leaf stage ensuring the crop has the best yield potential at this crucial initial period.

Intervix provides both knockdown and residual weed control. Therefore it’s important to consider the crop planted in the following year. As the primary degradation pathway is through microbial activity, it is important that conditions are favourable to ensure adequate breakdown of residual herbicide. Extensive R&D work has shown Intervix provides a safer plant back profile compared to other Imidazolinone herbicides. This gives additional flexibility in crop rotations.

Intervix can be used as a stand alone product but is also compatible with Nufarm’s Archer®1 and Sequence® herbicides to increase the spectrum of weed control and improve control of high weed populations.
